A History of Flash

Flash; the single most installed plug-in we were ever willing to install. You either love it or hate it, but Macromedia's untamed beast has been so to speak around forever, and played a huge role in the development of the Internet-landscape we see today. With JavaScript- and CSS-animation making their way into our browsers (well, except if you're on IE) we feel as if Flash is running the risk of becoming one of the Web’s "fine arts". 

 At MediaMonks, Flash has a special place in all our hearts. Before us monks decided to take part in making the Web a better place, most of us were consistently on the exact same Web sites. Mostly wondering how they’re made. 

Listed here are some of the prime motivations for lots of us to give up our social lives, and instead spend hours on compile-errors, impossible shape-animations and pixel pushing for perfection.
